Not professional advice

Our checks are self-assessments and warning-sign detectors. They are not technical security audits and cannot confirm whether something is a scam. If you have lost money or think you are a victim of crime, contact your bank and the relevant authorities.

We link to other websites, some through affiliate links. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

Accuracy

We check our guides against official sources and date them, but security advice changes. Always check with the organisation concerned before acting on anything that involves money or account access.
